EVERYONE I WOULD LIKE TO APOLIGIZE FOR NOT BEING UPDATED TO
THE TWENTIETH CENTURY AND NOT USING SOME KIND OF NEW-FANGLED DEVICE
CALLED SPELL CHECK.  IT IS WONDERFUL I MEAN JUST LIKE MAGIC IT WILL CORRECT
A WORD FOR ME. MYSTICAL

Vicky pulled Dave up by his tie and led him into her apartment. They started to kiss and stumbled onto Vicky's bed while un-dressing each other.  They expressed their love for each other passionately.  Dave felt as he couldn’t get enough of her and she felt the same.  They let the world disappear and it was almost as if they were inside this bubble that their love created and no other person could destroy.   Dave felt as if he belonged with her and never wanted this moment to end.  With Dave's arms coiled tightly around Vicky's body, he fell asleep.  Vicky didn't want to sleep she wanted to watch Dave.  She watched Dave sleep all night.  He looked so gentle and sweet as if a fragile treasure that she wanted to keep beside her.  Although she loved Dave she couldn’t help thinking of Joe.  Even though he was rough in exterior Joe was a nice guy and even though she already had she didn’t want to hurt him.  The
moments and even the hours flew by.  Vicky didn’t notice until she realized it was day.  She didn’t want to wake him but she knew that she had to. Suddenly, the answering machine went on.  It was Joe, inviting Vicky to go to lunch with him that day.  Vicky looked back at Dave and he was awake.  They both new what the other was thinking, how that no just Vicky but the two of them had done something to hurt a good guy, Joe.

Both got up kind of awkwardly, took a shower, ate breakfast and left.  Dave entered into the office with a paper bag lunch that Victoria had made him.  He set it down next to the coffee machine while he poured himself a cup.  Matthew come over and said cheerfully “ Hey, Dave I didn’t know that your mom put smiley faces on your lunch too.”  Dave gave him a look of pure hatred and stomped into his office.  He did this because he was still slightly vexed over the whole Joe situation.  Vicky and Dave had delineated at the breakfast table that she would break up with him that very afternoon.  Joe walked into Dave’s office slammed the door and plopped down on the couch.
“I need to talk to you”
“Sure Joe.” He said nervously
“Yo, dude at first I was kinda jealous about you knowing Vicky before you knew me and about you having a relationship, but I am over that because Vicky informed me on what happened.  Anyway….
“Wait a second she informed you on what?!” Dave exclaimed
“Well, she told me that you had cheated on her with that Nancy girl and that she could probably never trust you again in a relationship.” Said Joe very informatively.
“Ohhh, well that, well nevermind.  What were you saying?”
“Oh, Dave I know you are close to Vicky and everything so could you tell me….” he began to speak in a whisper “….if Vicky had a guy in her apartment last night.”
“Wh, wh, why ahhhh would you say that?” Dave stuttered
“ I went by Vicky’s apartment last night and I knocked on the door and rang the doorbell about a thousand times but no answer.  I know she was home because there was music playing and it was pretty low so she could have heard me.”
Dave had forgotten that when he entered her apartment that Barenaked Ladies was on her stereo.
“ I also knew she was home because I heard her talking to someone.”
“Well, um you know Joe I haven’t talked to Vicky since yesterday at at work.” Dave said unstably
“Alright but if you hear anything give me a holler because I am going to lunch with her now and I know she won’t tell me anything if it is true.”
“I      I       sure will Joe. Have a nice lunch.”
“Thanks dude.  You know what if there was ever a guy that I met who dated Vicky I am glad it was you because you are the best guy I know. See ya.
This statement made Dave feel 10 inches tall and it also made him feel horrible at what he was about to do.
